What do you do? We offer programs that promote self-reliance and healthy lifestyles, through education, mentoring, and advocacy. The WRAAP’ After-School Enrichment Academy Program is designed to provide support and guidance to children by involving them in constructive activities that keep them interested and out of trouble. The community outreach program provides physical and emotional support to needy individuals and families in need.
How long have you been offering services? Since 2007, the After-School Enrichment Program has been offering prevention-type programming and supportive services that benefits “at risk” children and families.
Our Mission? To bridge the educational and social gaps exist amongst our youths, families, and communities.
Our Goal? 1) To reduce the number of unsupervised youths after school. 2) To improve academic performance, as well as attitude and behavior of youth. 3) To meet the physical, intellectual, emotional, and social needs of young people. 4) To involve community volunteers. 5) To improve the coordination of existing resources and enhance collaboration between agencies. 6) To bridge the social gaps that exists amongst our youths, parents, and communities.
